Operation :

Vacuum and pressure regulating thumbscrew controls are located behind the vacuum and pressure gauges. Since the pump is of diaphragm action, the unit can be operated for continuous air sampling procedures as well as other uses. In addition, the pump may be used for pressurizing the pressure vessels for small process filtration applications. Air flow rates at different vacuum and pressure settings are given behind (for vacuum operation, pump exit pressure is 1 atmosphere). The motor is permanently lubricated, and is protected by a thermal overload switch with automatic reset.

This oil free pump is a portable AC powered source of vacuum to 585mm/ 23 Hg (at mean sea level) or pressure to 4 bar/ 58 psig for filtration of liquids or gases or other continuous or intermittent use with all types of filter holders.

Internal Pump Head Surfaces are PTFE coated and
Leaf Valves are of High-grade Stainless Steel. The
power source is 1/3 HP 220V / 50 Hz Motor .

NOTE : The pump cannot be used on liquids without a vacuum trap (i.e.second vacuum flask ).

If there is danger of liquid carryover, the Millex FG 50 filter unit can be used on the vacuum line.
